PLAYFUL LEARNING

Thanks to the great interest of teachers from Moldava nad Bodvou and the surroundings, on March 15, 2023, the second workshop was held in cooperation with ABCedu focusing on PLAYful learnING combined with a practical demonstration of educational aids suitable for 6 to 10 years old children, and for children with special needs.

"KNOW YOUR REGION" – TRIP TO ROŽŇAVA

We decided to visit Rožňava during the spring school vacation. Within the activities included in the project „Know your Region“, we visited the House of Traditional Gemer Culture, in particular the vacation creative workshop focused on traditional folk handicrafts: leather, tinker and ceramic manufacture.

On Thursday, February 23, 2023 the Multi-functional Center for Children and Youth organized the district round of the competition „Beautiful Hungarian Language“ in cooperation with the Joint Church School - Boldog Salkaházi Sára EgyháziIskolaközpont.

READERS´ WORKSHOP - "THE WORLD OF FAIRYTALES"

Reading with comprehension represents a part of literacy needed in everyday life. If a child doesn´t train the reading ability, he/she will perform worse and lag behind the others more and more. A cycle of failures can appear at such a child that is associated with lower performance and avoidance of reading.

SHROVETIDE, PENTECOST, EASTER IS COMING

Shrovetide starts traditionally at the Twelfth Night and ends on the Ash Wednesday. It is a celebration of joy and feast! Fancy balls, celebrations and hogs killing is organized at this time.

Shrovetide disco party organized by the Parliament of Youth of the Multi-functional Center for Children and Youth was held in an exciting atmosphere.

PREVENTION LECTURE - HEALTH AND HAND HYGIENE

In cooperation with the civil association BAFF SA, the Multi-functional Center for Children and Youth continued in February with the series of prevention lectures related to health and hand hygiene. Now we visited elementary school ZŠ Drienovec.
