RESULTS OF THE ART COMPETITION "The world through the eyes of children"
In December, the Multifunctional Centre for Children and Youth organized an art competition for children from kindergarten, primary, secondary, special schools and an eight-year secondary grammar school with the theme "The world through the eyes of children" at the occasion of the International Day of Tolerance.
We were very pleased that 14 entities participated in the competition and they delivered 110 art works to us.
The competition was divided in 5 categories. A special category consisted of the art works of Primary Arts School students. The committee was composed of teachers from schools in Moldava. Elementary schools were represented by Mgr. Lucia Kobulnická, the head of the Education Department. The vernissage, which included the evaluation of art works and the presentation of awards, took place on 15th December 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Incubator House in Moldava nad Bodvou. Students of the Primary Arts School performed in the program. The exhibition was also made available during the Christmas markets.

We would like to thank all the schools that participated in the competition. We are glad that we managed to raise children's awareness of the need for tolerance and of the dangers and negative consequences of intolerance.
