YOUTH SPORTS OLYMPICS OF THE BODVA VALLEY 2023 – DAY 1
The ceremonial opening of the Olympics was followed by a mutual match in the first sports discipline - dodgeball for girls of II. grade among pupils of Boldog Salkaházi Sára Egyházi Iskolaközpont and Severná 21 primary school.
2nd YEAR OF THE YOUTH SPORTS OLYMPICS OF THE BODVA VALLEY
The Multifunctional Center for Children and Youth in cooperation with the City Sports Club successfully launched the 2nd annual "Youth Sports Olympics of the Bodva Valley" in Moldava nad Bodvou on May 17, 2023 (Wednesday).
On April 26 - 27, 2023, the 1st year of the summer championships of the Sports Versatility Multi contest of the I. and II. degree pupils took place at the new athletic stadium on the grounds of the ČSA 15 Elementary School in Moldava nad Bodvou.
On Saturday, April 29, 2023, after the cheerful musical fairy tale called The Fairy Pot presented by the Portál Theater in the Municipal Cultural Center, fairy tale creative workshops were waiting for the children.
Fine-art competition: „From fairytale to fairytale“
In cooperation with project partner – civil association BAFF SA o.z., experience competition was announced for the children from the elementary school Drienovec in April with the name „From Fairytale to Fairytale“.
In April, the Multifunctional Center for Children and Youth, in cooperation with the Regional Teacher Support Center KE and KS, prepared a half-day workshop for teachers from schools in Moldava and the surrounding area, focused on the topic of teachers' well-being with lecturer Jana Imrová, who shared tips and tricks with us how to make teachers feel as good as possible in their teaching profession.
May is associated with love and new beginnings, and the birth of a new life. It has been a Slovak custom since the Middle Ages that boy who liked a girl put up a tree decorated with colorful ribbons and pieces of paper in front of the house of their chosen one – the Maypole.
In our city, on the occasion of Earth Day (April 21, 2023), the 2nd annual entertainment and educational event called ECO DAY was held under the auspices of the Municipal Cultural Center, in which the Multifunctional Center for Children and Youth also participated.
