Painted Path of Moldava

As part of the Sports Festival, which was held under the auspices of the City Sports Club on 13th October 2023 (Friday) in front of the Multifunctional Sports Hall in Moldava nad Bodvou, we organized the accompanying event "Painted Path of Moldava", the theme of which was "Sport for Health".

"HOCUS-POCUS" – graphomotor activities for children

Back in September, at the beginning of the school year, we worked with the Community Centre workers to develop graphomotor skills in children.

Hopscotch – making our surroundings more beautiful

Since the sun was still very warm in September, we could enjoy the time spent playing games outside with children in cooperation with the Community Centre workers.

Stop addictions – preventive lecture

On 20th and 21st September 2023, the Hungarian-language primary school in cooperation with the Multifunctional Centre for Children and Youth organized an interactive lecture for 5th and 6th grade students with a psychologist from the Prevention and Counselling Centre from Košice, the aim of which was to reduce the number of children who turn to drugs and other addictions to solve their problems.

Sock October 2023

One year has passed and the Sock October is here again. Together we managed to create 7 collection points in Moldava nad Bodvou last year. We collected a total of 300 socks!

We spent the last day of the sports and hiking camp getting to know the region situated west of Moldava and our first destination was Gombasek.

On the second day of the sports and hiking camp, we went to the village of Budimír near Košice that prides itself in having one of the oldest manor houses in Slovakia, as it was built in the 15th century.

Get to know your region was the motto of this year´s sports and hiking camp of the Multifunctional Centre for Children and Youth in Moldava nad Bodvou, which, among other things, included a varied program full of sport, hiking and educational activities and exhibitions. Parents could choose from 4 one-day trips depending on their children´s preference.
