PERFORMANCE OF CHILDREN FOLK BANDS AT CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

Despite of winter weather, common performance of our children folk bands Čučoriedky and Modranka pleased the parents, grandparents and all people that attended the Christmas Fair within the Christmas program at the Incubator House at Moldava nad Bodvou with kind words, carols and wishes.

DECEMBER MEETING OF MEMBERS OF THE TOWN PARLIAMENT OF YOUTH

Informal meeting of our newly founded Town Parliament of Youth was held in December 2022.

1. ASSEMBLY OF THE PARLIAMENT OF YOUTH

The 1st constituting assembly of the Parliament of Youth of the town Moldava nad Bodvou was held on November 30, 2022 in the Town Cultural Center.
Three delegated representatives from 5 schools and the elementary school of arts in the territory of town Moldava nad Bodvou became the youth deputies. Moreover, 5 young people amongst the volunteers expressed the interest in the membership.

COMPETITION OF FINE ARTS "THE WORLD AS SEEN BY CHILDREN"

Lately the multifunctional center for children and youth organized the competition of fine arts „The World As Seen by Children“ at the occasion of the “International Day of Tolerance“ for children from kindergartens, elementary schools, special schools and high schools.

BAKING TOGETHER... CHRISTMAS GINGERBREADS

Since the Christmas time is approaching, we, similar to our mothers, decided to bake gingerbreads together with the Community Center workers.

WORKSHOP: "SO AS ALL CHILDREN UNDERSTAND"

Along with other things, mandatory pre-elementary education introduced also new challenges related to education of national minorities. Children from multinational territory and marginalized communities come to kindergartens and elementary schools where Slovak is not a prevailing language. If we want these children to be educated in Slovak language, understand it and reach the same performance as the Slovak speaking children, we should help them and offer suitable educational materials for development of reading and mathematical literacy.

Our cute „Blackberries“ or Čučoriedky band pleased all who attended their performance on Sunday, November 27, 2022 – the Advent Event organized by pension Réva.

Preventive lecture about the care of health and hand hygiene

In cooperation with the civil association BAFF SA o.z., today we continued in the series of preventive lectures dedicated to the care of health and hand hygiene.
