SPORTS AND TOURISM CAMP - DAY 5

On the last day of our camp, we visited the Ochtinská Aragonite Cave, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage list thanks to its importance and unique decoration.

The beautiful aragonite features enchanted all the children. They liked the most perhaps the most beautiful space of the cave - the hall of the Milky Way, named after a large long crack in the ceiling, which is filled with many white aragonite decorations shining in the light of lamps like stars on the milky way. Later, we had the opportunity to get to know one of the youngest national parks in Slovakia – the Muráň plain and visit the Sysľovisko Biele Vody (a place of abundant occurrence of ground squirrels). The tiny charming creatures come up close to humans, so children could try feeding them. During the whole week, we learned a lot, saw, got to know the surroundings, created and had fun in the circle of new friends, so we end the summer with unforgettable experiences. Goodbye in a year!
