ANNUAL MEETING OF EHP AND NORWEGIAN GRANTS 2023
On June 20, 2023, the 6th Annual meeting of EHP and Norwegian Grants 2014-2021 was held in Košice that included also the visit of projects in situ. The annual meeting organized by the National Contact Point was attended also by the representatives of the contributing countries, the Office of Financial Mechanism and the Program Administrators. On the first day of the annual meeting, the visitors attended the project site at Moldava nad Bodvou called "Space Joins Us – Multifunctional Center for Children and Youth. During the visit,the representatives of the contributing countries had opportunity to see the progress in the old cinema reconstruction work in situ in the form of presentation, including the object visualization.
Afterwards, particular project activities consisting of already implemented events and projects were presented in the grand hall of the Town Cultural Center. The presentation included a cultural program of the nationalities - minorities living in our region. Performance of the children folk group Čučoriedky and Modranka, students of elementary school Grundschule Medzev, girls from Boldog Salkaházi Sára EgyháziIskolaközpont and musical choir Savorenge from SzepsiAlapiskola - elementary school with Hungarian language as a teaching language Moldava n.Bodvou, presented an abundant national variety of our region to the visitors.
Following the speech of the town mayor JUDr. Ing. Slavomír Borovský, the participants had opportunity to look at the children works exhibition named „The World as Seen by Children“, as well as the wine cellar premises.
We hope that they will keep nice memories of the visit of our project site.
