Wrestling nad Bodvou
On Thursday, June 09, 2023, the Multifunctional Center for Children and Youth in cooperation with the Wrestling Club in Moldava nad Bodvou and elementary school Severná organized the 4th annual competition „Wrestling nad Bodvou“ for students of the 1st to 4th grade of the elementary schools. Children competed in the categories according to body weight in wrestling and tug-of-war.
Total 89 children from elementary schools ČSA and Severná attended the mutual fights and they exerted maximum strength. Some fights were very exciting and balanced, thus we could see some tears in the children´s eyes but also the joy of victory. Girls didn´t lag behind the boys at all, and we were surprised at their strength and determination. The atmosphere in the gym was excellent thanks to schoolmates that loudly supported their friends with enthusiasm. Finally, 50 successful boys and girls stepped on the winners´ stage.
