Summer School – Creative workshop – Tie-dyeing

As part of the Summer School activities in August, we planned a creative workshop for children in cooperation with the Community Centre workers - tie-dyeing, where unique patterns are created by folding, tying or knotting fabric.

On 15th August, the children could create a unique t-shirt with their own patterns of different colours. They practiced fine motor skills through tying and making knots. The most interesting part of tie-dyeing was experimenting with the combinations of colours. Everyone got a different t-shirt with a final pattern motif, which is why this activity was so attractive for them. The final effect was definitely worth it. The children enjoyed their own skills and were very happy with the uniqueness of their work.
