Summer School with Community Centre, part 2

One day in July, we went on a trip to Jasov with the Community Centre workers.

We learned a lot of interesting things about the Jasovská Cave, including the information about how it was discovered by monks from the local monastery and the fact that it was opened to the public in 1846. In addition, we saw historical inscriptions on the walls, probably from the times of the wars, when people and soldiers hid there from the Tatars. During the tour, we also saw bats and experienced real darkness in the cave. At the end, we took a walk in the surroundings of the cave and had some refreshing ice cream.
We spent another great day of summer holidays together.
