ECO DAY
On April 22nd, 2022, our Multifunctional Center also took part in the educational and entertainment ECO DAY, which was organized by the City Cultural Center Moldava nad Bodvou. Earth Day has its own motto every year, the motto of 2022 was: "Invest in our planet".
In the city park, at our site, our youngest participants could try an interesting experiment with blooming paper flowers, and at the same time realize how important is WATER for the lives of people and also of animals and plants. Each participant of the event could put their hand to the work. Thus, we created an unconventional blooming ECO TREE.
They were also able to test their knowledge in the educational Forest PEXESE, where they found out how long it takes for garbage to break down in nature, which will be left behind by careless tourists. Since, many adults do not realize that what they brought with them to the forest, they should also take back with them. Otherwise, their waste will remain undecomposed for several generations. So let's remember: "The forest isn't really the right place to leave waste behind."
