Kindergarten Day 2023

The initiative of the Slovak Committee of the World Organization for Preschool Education (SV OMEP) gave rise to the idea of organizing Kindergarten Day in Slovakia every year on 4th November. On this day – 4th November 1829 – the first daycare centre in Slovakia was founded by Countess Mária Terézia Brunswická in Banská Bystrica.

We will celebrate Kindergarten Day together under the auspices of the mayor of the city on 7th November 2023 (Tuesday), starting at 9:30 a.m., in the new Multifunctional Sports Hall at Rožňavská 17 in Moldava nad Bodvou.
The Multifunctional Centre for Children and Youth in cooperation with the City Sports Club and “HepyBejby“ prepared a program full of activities, including a theatre performance “Magic Pot" presented by Portál Theatre a great disco show with “HepyBejby“.
There will also be prizes and tasty snacks.
