FINAL CONFERENCE OF THE PROJECT

This project was implemented under the Local Development and Inclusion Programme.
It was supported by Norway from Norway Grants co-financed by the state budget of the Slovak Republic and the budget of the town of Moldava nad Bodvou.
The main objective of the project was to establish a multifunctional centre for children and youth, which would be a coordinating centre for other centres working with youth and children in Moldava nad Bodvou; to improve the level of communication and cooperation of existing centres dealing with children and youth in Moldava nad Bodvou, as well as to provide high quality services for children and youth in different areas - health, education, non-discrimination, employment.
After a great musical introduction by the SAVORENGE vocal ensemble of the Primary School with VJM - Szepsi Alapiskola, the director of the Multifunctional Centre Mgr. Sylvia Strámová. The invitation to the conference was also accepted by the Programme Administrator of the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic Ing. Jana Dacková, who addressed the invited guests. Afterwards, the Mayor of the city JUDr. Ing. Slavomír Borovský. In the framework of excellent cooperation, the results of the project were summarized by the partners involved - the Mayor of MEDZEV - Ing. Mgr. Radoslav Gedeon, Director of SCŠ Mgr. István Nagy as well as the youth leader PhDr. Rudolf Rusňák from the Civic Association BAFF SA. The results of the implemented activities were evaluated by the Director of the MŠK Tibor Podracki
for the sport field and by the professional employee of the Community Centre Dávid Rybár for the activity Smaller differences = bigger chances.
We presented almost 3 years of efforts, demanding but beautiful work with youth in Moldava nad Bodvou and its surroundings.
During this period we organized more than 230 events thanks to partners, lecturers, cooperating educational institutions, other organizations, individuals who cooperated with us during the whole duration of the project with courage and enthusiasm in every activity, workshop, meeting, talk or education, during which new contacts and friendships were established.
The conference continued with a cultural event entitled: "A COLOURFUL WORLD OF ART in the renovated premises of the old cinema, which came to life again and became a space that brings together people of different nationalities through music, art, traditions.
Children from Moldovan kindergartens and primary schools, ZUŠ Medzev, ZUŠ Moldava nad Bodvou presented their musical, singing and recitation talents. The musical diversity was closed by the main guest of the programme, the musical ensemble ART ORCHESTRA.
The multifunctional centre, which has been renovated, is not just a building, but a symbol of solidarity, inclusion, new possibilities and hope for our community.
