NURSERY NIGHTINGALE 2024
On May 28, 2024 the concert hall of the Elementary School in Moldava nad Bodvou resounded with the singing of little kindergarteners. The Štvorlístok Kindergarten in cooperation with the Multifunctional Centre for Children and Youth and the Moldava ZUŠ organised the 16th annual "Škôlkarsky slávik" (Nursery Nightingale) folk song singing show for pre-school children.
The event was attended by 13 children from kindergartens from Moldava nad Bodvou, Budulov, Poproč and Perín. Each child sang one compulsory song - It's raining, it's raining and one of their choice. The jury composed of PaedDr. Katarína Kissová from the elementary school ČSA 15, Mgr. Sylvia Strámová and the head of the Department of School Education Mgr. Martin Tökészky had a difficult task in evaluating the competition. The children gave great singing performances and all of them were awarded. The overall victory and the wandering nightingale went to Petra Šušňák from the Perín-Chym Kindergarten.
During the programme, a little singer from the Pantľika
choir sang for them. Thanks are due not only to the little singers, but also to the teachers who prepared and rehearsed nice folk songs with the children.
