DISTRICT ROUND OF COMPETITION "BEAUTIFUL HUNGARIAN LANGUAGE"
On Thursday, February 23, 2023 the Multi-functional Center for Children and Youth organized the district round of the competition „Beautiful Hungarian Language“ in cooperation with the Joint Church School - Boldog Salkaházi Sára EgyháziIskolaközpont.
Students of four schools with Hungarian language as a teaching language from the districts Košice I, Košice-vicinity, and Rožňava participated on the competition. The competition was divided in category I. and II., each consisting of 3 parts – diction, text reading chosen by a student, creation of coherent verbal speech (topic chosen by a student), and reading of mandatory text. The jury faced a complicated decision-making because of strong competition but they finally decided as follows:

3. place - Zajdek Gréta (Elementary school with Hungarian teaching language Buzica)
