SUMMER SCHOOL
In cooperation with BAFF SA o.z. and the Community Center, a Summer School was held on July 18-20, 2022 focused on the development of the knowledge, skills and abilities of children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds.
Each child developed their skills in creative activities with an Indian theme in the MsKS Amphitheatre, and competed in various physical activities in the Sports Complex under the hill. The third day was focused on hiking and exploring nature. With great anticipation, the children went on a hike to the Zádielská valley in cooperation with the Community Center, where they could learn a lot of interesting things about this national reserve, get to know the flora and fauna by walking along the educational trail, and walk along the Blatnický stream, which led them to the destination of Zádielská tiesňava gorge.
Our effort was to do everything in a form of play, so that it would not be too burdensome for the children and, above all, it would be interesting. Every day was therefore different, with a varied range of activities, from which they take away fond memories.
