REGIONAL ROUND "KNOW THE SLOVAK LANGUAGE"

It was attended by 13 pupils from 6 schools with Hungarian language of instruction in the Košice Region - Gymnasium and Primary School of S. Máraiho Košice, Connected School Rožňava, Buzitai Alapiskola - Primary School Buzica, Primary School of M. Helmeczy Kráľovský Chlmec, Primary School I. Dobóa Veľké Slemence, Gymnázium Kráľovský Chlmec.
The competition was held in 3 categories and consisted of 4 parts, where the contestants had to demonstrate their knowledge of the Slovak language by reproducing the text they heard, continuous narration, reading a short text after preparation...
In a strong competition it was very difficult for the jury to decide and determine the final order of the contestants. Fluency of speech, linguistic correctness, comprehension of the text, creativity in their own creation, as well as richness of vocabulary were evaluated.
